The Brookfield Athletic Association (BAA) annual hockey pool is back! This will be our 20th season of weekly NHL
hockey pools, with over $60,000 in prize money paid out. It’s fun and easy to play. The weekly cost is just $2 per entry,
and the format is very simple, just select the winners of the upcoming weekend games. Results are sent out every Monday.
 
The BAA uses the proceeds from this fundraiser to support Minor Hockey, Minor Ball and Soccer, Junior Curling,
Junior B Hockey, Men’s Fastpitch, Adult Bowling, Elk Park upkeep, SCA athletic awards, and numerous other programs.
 
Pool treasurer Nancy VanTassell, [email protected] (673-2070), will work with you to set up a payment
collection option that is convenient. Many prepay an amount to cover their entries for several weeks. Payments
can be via eTransfer to [email protected] . Weekly picks can be passed in to one of our sellers or

Hockey Pool Rules
Circle one selection per game.
If more than one result circled, the first selection will be used.
If no game is selected, player will automatically get the home team.
Regulation, overtime and shootout winners will be awarded one point.
Games that are tied after regulation will be worth two points.
Example: John picks Toronto to beat the Montreal, Tom picks a tie.
​Toronto wins in overtime. Tom gets two points and John gets one point.
The weekly cash prize will be 50% of total sales with a guaranteed minimum of $100.
​In the event of a tie, the winners will evenly split the prize money.
